Antoinette has been Belly Dancing since the mid 1980's.
She has been teaching Belly Dance since 1998. In order to bring awareness to the art, she offers after school enrichment
to elementary, middle, and high school students, and has been a visiting artist at Skyline College.
Antoinette has appeared all over the Bay Area in a wide variety of venues. Some of which are local clubs, restaurants, cultural
events and festivals and is a former member of The Aswan Dancers under the direction Amina Goodyear.
Her qualifications in teaching the art of movement go beyond the small community of Middle Easter Dance. She is a former professional
figure skater, having performed with Holiday on Ice in Europe, Charles Schulz Productions and part of the Original cast of
Bill Graham Presents: Nutcracker on Ice at the Warfield Theater in San Francisco. She taught competitive and recreational
figure skating for 10 years. But her innate passion has been Raks Sharki (Belly Dance)
